A doctor refers you for a test. On the NHS it might not be available for weeks and as a one-off private appointment it might be costly.

Step 2

Policy holder requests a referral letter from the doctor and calls the Cignpost claims team.

Step 3

The claims team work with the policy holder to find an appropriate specialist and clinic.

Step 4

Cignpost claims team arrange the appointment and deal with the corresponding billing.
